MONDO

Mondotrack FTX is the innovative surface resulting from a new research, conducted by Mondo's engineers team with researchers from Pavia University.

Its newly designed texture, backing geometry and formulation have improved:

Mondotrack FTX has the same construction as Mondotrack SX, but it is a custom-made surface, especially designed and manufactured for high level sport facilities, as for the Bird's Nest in Beijing. During Beijing 2008 Olympics 5 world record have been set on Mondotrack.

Mondotrack FTX is prefabricated synthetic rubber track surfacing, calendered and vulcanized with a particular closed cell structure, with constant thickness.

Mondo new surface embossing ensure greater water flow efficiency in rainy conditions. The non-slip and reflecting-free surface has been designed to provide the best traction between the track and shoe spikes, and for a greater contact area than other track systems.

The special formula backing has the same color as the texture. The elongated honeycomb is structurally strong and provides improved lateral support and better control.

The directional compression of the honeycomb backing renders the track more elastic and responsive, thus improving athletic performance.

The elongated honeycomb is structurally strong and provides improved lateral support and, therefore, better control during the rolling movement of the foot.

The facilities constructed with Mondotrack FTX can be certified by  IAAF.

The product is environmentally friendly and recyclable after its useful life.
