Mondo, the company from Gallo d’Alba, Italy, has been selected as Official Supplier of the main and warm up tracks and the equipment for the upcoming IAAF World Indoor Championships which will be held in Doha, Qatar from 12 to 14 March.

The Russian National Championships ended with a new world record at 4x800 m: Moscow team composed of Tatyana Andrianova, Oksana Spasovkhodskaya, Yelena Kofanova, Yevgeniya Zinurova clocked 8:12.41 to establish the first world indoor record of 2010 considering IAAF events.

The final matches of the European Futsal Championships will take place on 30rd January in Debrecen, Hungary.

Both the Papp Laslo Sportarena in Budapestand the Fonix Arena in Debrecen have been equipe with Mondo Futsal System, specifically designed in cooperation with UEFA, the first Federation to pioneer the use of a black pitch in an indoor major continental event.

The innovative surface received good feedbacks from players, who confirmed that the black color did not cause any problem and it was easy to play on it.

The Circuito Permanente de Jerez, worldwide famous racing circuit, located in the city of Jerez de la Frontera, has been equipped with Mondo Landscape Grass.
The Circuit, that hosts both Formula One and Moto GP events, was renewed in May, substituting the natural grass of the escape areas near the curves with Mondoturf Landscape Grass.

The Italian Men Volley league has decided to assign the new Mondo three-colored field to the National Champions. They will have the possibility to play all matches of the 2009/10 edition on the field with the Italian flag colors realized by the League’s Official Supplier, Mondo.
