World Athletics Awards 2020: who will be the best male and female athlete of the year?

The "World Athletics Awards 2020" will be held on Saturday, December 5th, and will be as usual one of the most popular sports awards of the year. Athletics fans were able to participate in the selections of the best athletes who, during the course of the year, were the protagonists of excellent performances. The award ceremony also involves figures such as coaches, presidents of sports associations and photographers. Due to the global pandemic, the world of athletics has had to face a particularly difficult and demanding year. Sebastian Coe, president of World Athletics, said that "even though this was the year none of us had planned, I am proud of our athletes, our organizers and the entire World Athletics team for their tenacity and determination" .
