8th INTERNATIONAL MEETING SAVONA

The meeting organized by CUS Savona and CUS Genova and promoted in the European calendar as "Area Permit Meeting EAA" proposes a great victory for Marcell Jacobs (100m): first in 2016 with 10.23, second in 2018 with 10.08 (PB), the italian sprinter set the finish with 10.19 (+0.5), beating the Ivorian Arthur Cissé (10.28).
Marco Mura meeting director explains: "the results in the competitions certainly represent a flagship of the 2019 edition: two shot put over 20 meters, male javelin just one step from 80m, for the females just few meters from 60m and five middle distance runners over 7.65: these are performances that give prestige to the event, without forgetting about the high-level results in the 110 obstacles, with three athletes under 13.75, and the average high quality in the 200m and 400m for women".
