The 26th Bauhaus Junioren Gala took place on June 29 and June 30 2019 at the Michael Hoffmann Stadium in Mannheim. During the event great results were achieved by athletes competing on MONDO: Great Britain's Amy Hunt, 17, produced a sensational performance over 200m. Hunt improved her Personal Best from 23.17 down to 22.42 (+1.7) to eclipse Candace Hill's world U18 best (22.43) and break Dina Asher-Smith's British U20 record of 22.61 to move to equal third on the European all-time U20 list.
There were also fast times in the men's U20 200m with Brit Joe Ferguson winning in 20.76 from Ireland's Aaron Sexton (20.79) and there were wins in the U20 400m hurdles for Brit Alistair Chalmers in 50.60 and for Hungary's Sara Mato in 57.64. Fellow Brit Holly Mills set a PB of 6.51m to win the long jump and Switzerland's Simon Ehammer won the men's long jump with 7.72m. #MONDOsupportathletes
