Designed and manufactured in accordance with the Regulations of the International Association of Athletics Federations - World Athletics.
The water jump barrier consists of a horizontal beam of 3.66 m in length on the upper part, placed on three vertical, square section poles, including a telescopic system with a positioning pin and a fastening knob that allows for the beam barrier to be positioned at the different legal heights (0.914 m for men’s events, adults and under-20, 0.838 m for men, under-18, and 0.762 m for women’s events). Each of the uprights is composed of two pieces bolted together. The lower half is fixed to the ground by civil works, while the upper half can be dismantled to remove the obstacle and leave the water pit area clear at ground level.
The top beam barrier, made of pine wood, is reinforced with an inner core made of an 80 mm x 80 mm square section of an extruded aluminum profile. The aluminum core is equipped, at the bottom, with a groove for mounting three telescopic vertical supports. This aluminum profile is covered in pinewood on all sides, except on the bottom.
The wood has been painted with exterior paint and the edges are rounded.
The telescopic vertical supports are painted with powder paint, its application being carried out after a degreasing treatment by means of a pressurized phosphating bath and polymerized in an oven at 200º C.
