The Standard consists of a set of two uprights and their respective bases with lateral guiding rails that allow horizontal displacement.
The base rail is a guiding structure made of steel profiles. The two longitudinal profiles in the base rail are “U” section and the base of the upright moves between them.
The base of the upright is also made of steel and has four polypropylene wheels so that it can move along the length of the rail and another four that act as a guide and avoid contact between metal parts. It has a blocking system that fixes it in the position requested by the athlete. This position is indicated by a ruled sticker on the rail. Finally, the base has a vertical steel profile to which the upright is bolted and two tie rods to stiffen the structure against lateral stresses.
The uprights are made from an oval cross-section profile of extruded aluminum (120 x 100 mm) and there is a groove for the crossbar holder to move along. The crossbar holder can be moved manually with a handle which works an internal strap connected to the crossbar holder. The mechanism has a brake knob and a viewer to see the height at which the crossbar has been positioned.
Both uprights have a hinge that allows them to be folded down to a height of 80 cm, and thus be able to store the set under a covered structure, when not in use.
The crossbar holder is made of aluminum and has a telescopic design which allows for adjustment to landing areas of different widths.
The adjustment device of the upright and the base allows to set a height between 172 and 645 cm and at a depth between 0 and 80 cm behind the zero line.
Bases, rails, uprights and crossbar holder are polyester powder coated. All bolts and nuts are made of stainless steel.
