Designed and manufactured in accordance with the Regulations of World Athletics (WA), it has World Athletics certificate (E-21-1104).
The landing area consists of several individual modules that, once assembled, they configure the landing area in its total dimensions of 8.8 x 6.9 x 0.95 m. It also includes a spike-resistant top pad that covers the entire upper surface and prevents the spikes on athletes’ shoes from damaging the modules.
Each module is made of foam rubber and lined with a PVC-coated polyester canvas. The front modules (on either side of the pole vault box) are made in compact blocks, whereas the rest include a series of hollow spaces inside that absorb the impact of the landing.
The spike-resistant top pad is made of 10 cm thick polyurethane and as it is made in one piece, it provides a uniform surface for the landing area. It may be customised, upon request, with the desired colours and/or logos of the club, competition, etc.
