REMOVABLE AND HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE WATER JUMP BARRIER, FIXED LEG
Designed and manufactured in accordance with the IAAF Regulations - World Athletics.
The water jump barrier consists of a horizontal beam of 3.66 m in length on the upper part, placed on three vertical, square section steel profiles, including a telescopic system with a positioning pin and a fastening knob that allows for the beam barrier to be positioned at the different regulatory heights (0.914 m for men’s events, adults and under-20, 0.838 m for men, under-18, and 0.762 m for women’s events). Metal expansion bolts are used to secure the lower telescopic uprights to the ground. The nuts on the anchor plates can be loosened to allow the lower telescopic uprights to be removed, leaving the water jump area clear and accessible.
The upper beam barrier, made of pine wood, is reinforced with an inner core made of an 80mm x 80mm square section of extruded aluminum profile. The aluminum core has a groove at the bottom for mounting three upper telescopic uprights. This aluminum profile is covered with pine wood on all sides except the underside.
The pine wood is coated with an exterior paint and the edges are rounded. The upper side also is treated with a non-slip coating.
The upper telescopic uprights are coated with powder paint, which is applied after a degreasing treatment by means of a pressurized phosphating bath and polymerized in an oven at 200º C.
