After MONDO announced the installation of a new athletics track in Istanbul’s Ataköy Arena in December, ahead of the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships which were held between 2-5 March, the old track that had been in place for 11 years was taken up and used for the warmup areas as well as also being laid down in the corridors to help athletes move between the call rooms and the field of play.
