MONDO accelerates its sustainability efforts: less waste, more renewable energy, and greater emissions reductions.

On the occasion of Earth Day 2026, Mondo Group shares updated results from its sustainability journey, with preliminary 2025 data currently under validation.

The  figures highlight significant progress across the key pillars of the Group’s ESG strategy, starting with the decarbonization of its production processes.

From an energy perspective, the contribution from renewable sources has substantially increased. Self-produced renewable energy for internal use has grown by 33%, thanks to investments in photovoltaic systems that support the gradual replacement of fossil-based energy sources. This approach has a direct impact on emissions: 2,168 metric tons of CO2eq have been avoided thanks to the on-site generation of electricity from solar panels, a figure that represents a 43% increase in emissions avoided compared to 2024.

Equally significant is the result related to resource use, where a 42% reduction in production-generated waste was observed, confirming tangible improvements in process efficiency and material management.

Alongside its environmental performance, Mondo Group continues to strengthen its social responsibility and quality of governance. Mondo S.p.A.’s adherence to the (World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry) Pledge and the positive results achieved in the WCA (Workplace Conditions Assessment) audit confirm compliance with international standards on working conditions, safety, and environmental management across the value chain.

The Group will be releasing its 2025 Sustainability Report in the coming months.
