Mondo Chosen for Jay M. Robinson High School Track
Jay M. Robinson High School in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, is now home to a state-of-the-art facility that features a Mondo track.
The new 400-meter, 8-lane oval outdoor track boasts a Mondo’s
Super X 720 surface. The facility also has sprint straightaways, long jump, triple jump, and pole vault runways in the Mondo surface. Track markings accommodate competitions for high school, middle school, NCAA, USATF Master’s and Youth, and more.
The facility can host major track and field events, so it is expected to be a boom to the local economy through visitor spending. It’s also anticipated to enhance the quality of life for the community and the student-athletes who use the facility.
