Supercourt XN artificial turf, designed by Mondo specifically for padel courts, remains one of the most reliable solutions for those seeking an innovative, technical, efficient, and spectacular playing surface.Since its launch, it marked a new era in padel and has established itself as one of the most popular playing surfaces on the courts. Now, Mondo is reinforcing its color offering with a color that isn't new, but is once again a trend: terracotta. This shade, featured alongside blue and green, black, and purple, has been available in the Mondo range almost from the beginning, initially in fibrillated turf and STX versions.
The terracotta color ensures excellent visibility and contrast between the surface, the ball, and the padel court lines, while also reducing visual fatigue in bright indoor or outdoor settings. Clubs can therefore stand out from traditional color choices without compromising the technical performance of the Supercourt XN.
The new terracotta color is already available at several clubs around the world. For example, MejorSet has installed this Supercourt XN variant on the courts of the Ultra Padel Club (Miami, USA), the Pendle Padel Club in Nelson, Lancashire (UK) and the Project Padel Galway club (Ireland).
Supercourt XN, the official surface of the FIP, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor padel courts. It provides:
- balance between grip and slide in player movements,
- excellent ball speed and uniform bounce across the surface,
- fast and reactive gameplay.
Now also available in terracotta, the range includes blue, green, red, and black (the latter recommended for indoor use).
The system combines two textured monofilaments (STX and XNOVA) with different widths and thicknesses, totaling 8,610 Dtex and 10 mm pile height. The result is a highly durable curled turf with excellent elasticity and bounce stability (angled or vertical).
Thanks to the filament texture, the surface retains sand better, preventing build-ups or uneven distribution. This ensures:
- greater uniformity of the playing field,
- lower energy absorption,
- consistent performance across the padel court.
Supercourt XN also guarantees:
- high tear resistance of the filaments,
- color fastness,
- water permeability,
- excellent wear and tensile strength,
- optimal interaction between player, ball, and surface.
The turf is manufactured at Mondo Tufting in Borja (Zaragoza) and certified according to EN 15330-1 for artificial turf sports surfaces. It is also Greenguard Gold certified (for low chemical emissions) and endorsed by CSIC for full recyclability of ballast components.
Thanks to the design with virtually invisible roll joints, installation is simple and fast, minimizing the risk of lifting. Once installed, Supercourt XN requires minimal maintenance.
