Mondo Group has obtained certification for its Energy Management System according to the ISO 50001 standard with the aim of optimizing energy performance throughout the entire company, in a continuous improvement perspective.
The certification was issued by DNV, one of the world's leading certification bodies, following a comprehensive audit of the energy management system in all aspects of the company's operations, in compliance with international best practices according to the ISO 50001 standard.
ISO 50001 is the international standard that helps Mondo Group efficiently manage the energy it consumes. It provides guidelines for creating an energy management system within the company with the primary goal of enabling the implementation of measures to improve energy efficiency, reduce energy costs, and decrease environmental impacts such as greenhouse gas emissions.
The ISO 50001 standard was developed by experts from the national standardization bodies of over 60 ISO member countries, with the aim of ensuring consistency and validity of energy performance worldwide.
