100 DAYS TO GO IAAF WORLD ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS DOHA 2019

With 100 days to go until the start of the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019, the Khalifa International Stadium is ready to host a full slate of thrilling competitions in the Qatar capital from September 27 to October 6. Athletes will compete on MONDOTRACK WS whose installation was completed last year, in January. At that time Maurizio Stroppiana, Managing Director, MONDO S.p.A. declared: “We are proud to be part of the transformation of the stadium, which is the first in the world to be awarded a four-star rating from the Global Sustainability Assessment System. In addition to the innovative color and the traditional athletic performance, our MONDOTRACK WS is GREENGUARD Gold certified for its low VOC emissions, which effectively contributes to minimizing the stadium’s ecological footprint.
