The world's most important international padel tournament has begun: the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour 2025 has begun. Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, is hosting the Riyadh Season P1 until February 15, which will be played on the Premier Supercourt X3 turf, the official playing surface of the Premier Padel circuit.
With 24 tournaments in 16 countries, the current Premier Padel season brings with it many novelties and will see the participation of at least 7 new venues, including for the first time Miami, Buenos Aires, Cancun and Germany. But two things will not change: spectators will continue to enjoy the best padel players on the planet and the Mondo Premier Supercourt X3 turf playing court, specially designed for this sport, will once again be the star of the circuit.
Premier Supercourt X3 artificial turf, which will be used in many of the events on the current circuit, offers excellent sporting and technical performance, approved by the best international professionals in the sport. This Mondo system is the first on the market to combine three monofilaments with different textures (XNOVA, XOMEGA and XDELTA, each with a different morphology), thus ensuring greater friction control, uniform rebound across the entire court and an extraordinary aesthetic appearance.
All Premier Supercourt X3 filaments are textured, which means that they "trap" the sand on the court between them, preventing it from being distributed unevenly across the surface or forming lumps during play. These properties are complemented by maximum comfort and safety, as well as a spectacular aesthetic appearance. With Premier Supercourt X3, players have a total feeling of safety and confidence in their movements, also reducing the risk of injury. The level of grip also significantly improves shock absorption, stability, traction and balance during play.
During the Premier Padel 2025 circuit, the best players in the world will compete on the new version of the Premier Supercourt X3 turf court, presented at the Tour finals held in Barcelona in December last year. This model features new shades of blue in the different filaments that make up the surface, achieving a playing field with a unique and distinctive effect, greater dynamism, a renewed appearance... and all this without sacrificing the excellent sporting performance of this lawn designed by Mondo specifically for padel.
In Spain, one of the countries where this sport is most deeply rooted, the wait for the most important professional circuit in the world is wild. Fans will not have to wait long: the first event on Spanish soil will start in two weeks. The Premier Padel Gijón P2 will be held from February 24 to March 2. The venue will be the Palacio de Deportes de la Guía ‘Presidente Adolfo Suárez’, which will also be equipped with Mondo Premier Supercourt X3 grass courts.
Tests have also been confirmed in other cities in Spain, such as Malaga and Madrid. The grand finale, the Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour Finals, will once again be held in Barcelona from December 8 to 14. The Catalan capital will be the finishing touch to the great international padel competition, once again on Mondo grass.
