MONDO PORTABLE BANKED TRACK
The Birmingham Arena boasts an iconic track: It was built in 1991 and served as the competition surface for the Indoor World Athletics Championships in 2003.
The portable banked system is set up at least once a year in the arena for national and international athletics events. Following each event, the system is dismantled and stored. After 28 years of use, the track and its structure are still in perfect condition and are ready to be center stage at the forthcoming championships.
This track is the essence of MONDO portable solutions:
- It’s truly reusable, thanks to the prefabricated track surface
- It’s extremely durable
